The purchase of your home is probably the most important financial transaction you will make. The knowledge gained during a professional home inspection will help make a sound decision about the house you are thinking of purchasing.
A home inspection by MD Inspect Plus will look at
"your house as a system". Our inspectors aren’t specialists in regards to all
of the components in your house but have a general knowledge of all of
the systems in your house. Bringing in specialists to verify
each component would take days to coordinate and cost thousands of
dollars in fees. Think of a home inspection by a professional building
inspector like a visit to your family doctor for your annual check-up.
Your family doctor will do an overall revue of your health and refer you
to a specialist to verify specific concerns (blood tests, MRI,
cardiologist, etc...). A professional building inspector does that
same thing in reviewing all of the systems in your house and if
something is a concern, they will recommend you bring in a specialist
(foundation company, electrician, structural engineer, etc...).
MD Inspect Plus also does Commercial building inspections of almost any size of building. We can do something from a small store in downtown Montreal to a 150,000 sq ft manufacturing plant and everything in between. Even if you thinking about leasing some space in a building, read your lease carefully before signing the bottom since in some cases, you can be responsible for the maintenance of your section of the building.
If you have a leaking roof, questions about your oil tank and heating system or wondering why all of a sudden you have water in your basement, call MD Inspect Plus for a consultation by one of our friendly inspectors.
